PTW Companies Unite Under a Single Brand
Calgary, Alberta – June 11, 2019 – Three organizations well known in Canada’s industrial markets are coming together under one consolidated management structure and a single identity – PTW Energy Services. This new structure is designed to better serve customers across North America and to best position the company for future growth.
PTW Energy Services Ltd. (“PTW”) is composed of three core businesses that carry out operations primarily in the oil and gas, mining and industrial sectors under separate identities. Effective immediately, these core businesses — Pyramid Corporation, Tarpon Energy Services and Warwick Structures Group — will be consolidated as one brand.
The newly developed PTW identity builds on these companies’ histories of serving industrial customers and operating in local communities. PTW will become the new brand under which the organization will deliver its electrical, instrumentation and building fabrication services.

PTW Energy was created in 2014 when founder Don Basnett worked with the company’s private equity investors to bring Pyramid, Tarpon and Warwick under one ownership group. Basnett recently retired from his operating role and is now Chairman of PTW’s Board of Directors.
