PTW Branch Operations feature of the week – Hinton

Our Hinton Branch prides itself on offering a comprehensive suite of services, encompassing electrical and instrumentation (E&I) maintenance, construction, and commissioning and are particularly fortunate to have an expert in its pump, valve, and meter proving shop, who diligently oversees the repair needs of customer valves.

Our Hinton Branch frequently partners with our Edson Branch, which has proven to be a game-changer for this shop and has had a huge impact on operations. “The continued progress we have achieved with Edson and our customers is incredibly exciting” comments Doug Cruden, Area Manager to the Hinton Branch. “This partnership has enabled us to leverage our collective strengths, expand our capabilities, and deliver exceptional results to our clients”.

While our Hinton Branch offer a wide range of services, one area where they excel is in catering to the unique requirements of coal mining projects. Their expertise and experience in this domain has set Hinton apart from other PTW branches as they understand the intricacies of coal mining operations and are well-equipped to provide tailored solutions to clients.

The team at Hinton are comprised of dedicated, hard working and kind individuals that reach out to lend a hand to those in need as evident during the recent Edson evacuation in May 2023 as a result of the wildfires. The Hinton team generously opened their shop to accommodate the Edson crew RVs, giving support to their evacuated colleagues by providing food and entertainment.
