PTW Branch Operations feature of the week – Bonnyville’s Facility Services team
Our Bonnyville Facility Services team provides their talent-base to the Bonnyville and Cold Lake regions, all the way to the Anzac region of Northern Alberta, and is best known for their top notch workmanship and ability to provide full-service support to client operations. The Facility Services team provides clients with:
- Burner system management,
- Electrical and instrumentation (E&I),
- E&I construction and project management,
- Gas and liquid meter proving,
- Material ordering and supply,
- Shop repairs on E&I equipment,
- SCADA programming, and
- Telecommunications.
The Facility Services team is active on a variety of client sites each day, including Cenovus Energy’s Foster Creek site. The Foster Creek site is one of the team’s longer-term contracts where they provide preventative day-to-day maintenance services.
“Our teams have been at Foster Creek since the early 2000 and our role on this site continues to evolve”, claims Braden Stolz, Facility Services Area Manager for the Bonnyville Branch. “Approximately 40 PTW employees maintain this site where our work has transformed from E&I construction for the plant, to now maintaining the facility on a daily basis. We also have a construction team that is embedded into the Foster Creek operations that is providing full-time construction projects with their engineering department”.
