PTW Branch Operations feature of the week – Wabasca

Wabasca provides a wide range of comprehensive Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I), Construction and Maintenance services. Additionally, we operate our own shops for Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and motor repairs. This setup offers significant advantages, particularly with the remoteness of Wabasca, as it minimizes the need for shipping parts to and from the area, enabling us to be more self-sufficient. 

Our team also operates a Small Project division that, in recent months, has been involved in the construction of 2- 9 well pads that have been fairly involved in new processes and shutdowns for this area. This is a relatively new endeavour for this area, so the team is taking it head-on and has been producing excellent outcomes.  

Of our 40 employees, none live directly in Wabasca, resulting in a team brought together from various locations across Alberta and British Columbia. This branch operates on a shift work schedule rather than adhering to the traditional Monday-to-Friday routine.
