Three Fires Group and PTW Form Strategic Partnership

PTW is proud to announce that on April 24th, 2025, we have signed a new partnership agreement with the Three Fires Group (TFG), a First Nations-owned corporation established by the Chippewas of the Kettle and Stony Point First Nation. Based in Ontario, this partnership is focused on driving economic development and increasing Indigenous participation in infrastructure and industrial projects within the traditional territories of the Three Fires Confederacy.

Three Fires Group brings invaluable expertise and a strong commitment to ensuring that the benefits of development projects are equitably shared with First Nations communities. Through this joint endeavour, TFG and PTW aim to deliver top-notch infrastructure services while also creating direct employment, training, and subcontracting opportunities for First Nation members across various levels, ranging from labour to leadership roles.

According to the terms of the agreement, PTW will spearhead project execution while actively engaging TFG in the estimation, planning, and identification of work that can be subcontracted to First Nations-owned businesses or individuals. This partnership ensures priority access to job opportunities for qualified First Nation members and provides pathways for training and development when additional support is needed.

Together, TFG and PTW are dedicated to operating with deep respect for the local culture, traditions, and environment, ensuring alignment with the values and priorities of the communities we serve. This collaboration not only enhances PTW’s capacity to manage complex projects but also contributes to sustainable economic growth for Indigenous communities throughout the Ontario region.

By merging our expertise and shared values, PTW and the Three Fires Group are laying the groundwork for a meaningful and lasting impact—one that honours the traditions of the Confederacy and empowers future generations.
