Then & Now: Justin Rogozinski

Justin Rogozinski’s journey with PTW began in January 2011 when he embraced the role of Assistant Area Manager for our Olds branch. It was evident from the beginning that this was not merely a career progression—it marked the beginning of a significant chapter. Over the years, Justin has been an instrumental figure across various regions, assuming leadership roles in Olds, Grande Prairie, and Hamilton, eventually ascending to his current position as Area Manager.
As his career unfolded, so did his leadership philosophy. A core principle has steadfastly guided him through challenges and achievements alike: People always come first. “We’re fundamentally a people-centric organization,” he asserts. “To retain our talent, we must elevate their experience to best-in-class standards, ensuring their happiness and motivation. The same applies to our clients—maintaining strong and positive relationships is crucial.”
This philosophy has profoundly influenced Justin’s leadership style and collaborative efforts. Whether he’s steering teams on the frontlines or cultivating enduring client relationships, his approach is rooted in respect, open communication, and a shared vision. His hands-on experience across various departments—management, human resources, payroll, sales, estimating, and project management—has given him a holistic perspective. “Engaging with every facet of the business has taught me invaluable lessons. Each of us contributes to pushing progress forward,” he reflects.
Justin attributes much of his continued growth at PTW to our culture of collaboration. “When you and your organization share common goals, it’s incredibly motivating. That collective ambition to improve and excel fosters a remarkable work environment.” This synergy between his personal aspirations and PTW’s vision has kept him focused, energized, and committed throughout his journey.
One particular project holds a special significance for Justin. After relocating to Ontario, he found himself navigating new and uncharted waters. “Initially, I was uncertain about how things would unfold in the East, especially with a significant portion of our operations based in the West,” he recalls. However, one of the first successful bids he and his team secured proved to be a pivotal moment, transforming his uncertainty into confidence and setting the tone for future growth in Ontario. “We wholly dedicated ourselves to securing this bid and delivering the project successfully. That accomplishment was monumental for me—it demonstrated what our team could achieve together.” This experience reaffirmed his belief in the strength of teamwork and resilience.
Beyond the workplace, Justin treasures his time with his family. He devotes much of his life to his wife and their three daughters, aged 9, 11, and 13, wholeheartedly supporting their activities and reveling in family life. He also possesses a passion for travel and enjoys hitting the golf course when time permits, cherishing balance, joy, and connection in life’s simpler moments.
Justin Rogozinski’s time at PTW has been a continuous evolution, people-first leadership, and a profound sense of purpose. From his beginnings as an Assistant Area Manager to his current role shaping PTW’s influence in Ontario, he remains committed to fostering strong teams, nurturing positive relationships, and striving for excellence. Justin’s journey exemplifies the remarkable achievements that can arise when values align, and people are at the forefront of progress.
