PTW Structural Solutions Assists in Truck Shop Expansion for Prominent National Energy Producer

A leading energy producer is expanding its truck shop operations with the addition of four new service bays to its existing facility. Our PTW Structural Solutions division spearheaded this exciting initiative, which aims to enhance the servicing capabilities for its mine haul fleet and associated support equipment.

The project encompasses the complete fabrication and erection of the building structure, along with the supply and installation of the building envelope, HVAC systems, and bridge cranes.

We are proud of our team for their abilities to fabricate a remarkable 1,000,000 pounds of structural steel in just 48 days. This effort involved delivering 41 truckloads of steel to the site. Our teams also worked on an expedited construction timeline, which involved a modular installation approach to successfully shorten the steel installation phase from an anticipated 80 days.  

The project was successfully completed on April 30, 2025. This expansion has significantly enhanced the operational efficiency of the mine haul fleet and improved service capabilities, demonstrating PTW Structural Solutions’ commitment to innovation and excellence throughout the project.
