Overview

PTW was contracted by a leading oil and gas producer to design and fabricate two MCC buildings, as well as provide electrical and instrumentation services for the installation of the buildings on-site. Additionally, PTW was responsible for the interconnection of 12 vendor supplied packages and the site services.
The project involved a fully electrical-operated compressor station, the first of its kind for the client. By using electrical-operated equipment as an alternative to the traditional gas-driven method, the client reaps many benefits: increased reliability, lower maintenance and operating costs and the ability to remote start the facility.
